Friday, July 19, 2002 ( 12:31 PM ) shut up christine In this dream, I’m in a cold, dark, scary place…probably a warehouse in the middle of the night. I’m sitting in a chair with my hands behind my back. Someone is there with me, but I can’t see his face. He whispers, “What is it?” I don’t answer. He asks again, “What is it, Christine??” I don’t answer. He yells, “TELL ME! WHAT IS YOUR DEEPEST DARKEST SECRET?” “Okay,” I say. “My guilty pleasure is…….” “YES? WHAT IS IT???” “I….I….I like to listen to Andrew WK.” And then the lights and music come on and we crazy dance like Andrew WK. PARTY HARD PARTY HARD PARTY HARD!! The end. # Thursday, July 18, 2002 ( 5:15 PM ) shut up christine Yay it’s my birthday! My parents surprised me yesterday with a brand new car…I couldn’t have asked for anything more. Well, when I woke up this morning, my dad taped a bunch of ribbons and balloons all over the hood, there was a big bow on top, and on the windshield was a giant birthday card that he made himself…he even drew a car and colored it in with markers…it was really really cute. It’s weird, but the card and the balloons and the ribbons mean more to me than the car itself because my dad doesn’t normally do things like that. Took me completely by surprise. Considering our rocky history, knowing that he put in a lot of effort to do this makes everything mean that much more to me. This is the best birthday ever. # Tuesday, July 16, 2002 ( 8:59 PM ) shut up christine Seems like I haven't posted in years. My summer quest for knowledge has led me to two very important conclusions thus far: 1. Deformities are sex-ay 2. $5.99 corkboards with magnetic-backings (made for use in lockers) are a tad dumb...why would you need a magnetic corkboard if you could just use magnets?? *CEO of the Magnet-Backed Corkboard Company slaps forehead* and that's all I have to say about that. # |
