      ( 6:58 AM ) shut up christine
random thoughts

when i was in elementary school i had heard or read somewhere that the world would come to an end in December of the year 2012, and, being very scared, i shared this information with a small circle of catholic school girl friends, who in turn pinky-swore that on the night of December 20, 2012 at 6pm, each of us would return to the small field next to our church to say our last goodbyes
i wonder if they remember

and for some reason
i am thinking about the time when it had rained all week, and best friend and i took a walk late at night but i tip-toed because i haaate stepping on snails it freaks me out, so he took my hand and started stomp-running down the sidewalk, jerking me by the arm toward every snail and i squealed like a little pig and woke up the neighborhood
man. what a jerk
i miss you

i need to start taking sleeping pills, this is getting ridiculous

i decided a month ago that i wasn't prepared for it this year
but with five days left before it starts
this is my last chance
i am too scared to go by myself
if no one responds to this, then i know it wasn't meant to happen this time,
but it never hurts to ask....

if you happen to be free anytime from Sept.29 - Aug.5 and don't mind driving with me to a temporary metropolis in the middle of a Nevada desert to spend two or three nights camping in a tent while visiting hundreds of art exhibits and watching people in crazy costumes express themselves/dance around a ginormous towering fire-engulfed wooden structure shaped like a man

call me :)

i just want to experience it once before i die
there's always next year...

aren't these clouds awesome?

this pic pretty much sums up my place in life at the moment...
so i'm in the driver's seat
and i'm lost (as usual)
and it's starting to rain a little
but the sun is still out

and i'm at an intersection waiting for the light to turn green but i don't know if i should turn left or right, should i make a U-turn, or should i go straight ahead

and i have no clue where my destination is
but i sorta know the general direction
so even if i make a few wrong turns, i should get there eventually, right?

right????

i'm pretty sure i'll be fine

anyway, i feel kinda bad for my mom
cause she worked so hard to come here and establish a better life for me in the US,
but i keep wanting to be everywhere but here
ironic, no?

someday this will make sense

in other news
my stretchy jeans are soo tight you can practically see my camel toe
yuck!
but i've gone running every day for the past week, hopefully i will see some results in the next couple months
small steps...

p.s. one month down, four more to go. that was easy!

did you ever surf the internet and randomly come upon the old online journal of a boy from your elementary school who asked you to his highschool homecoming dance in the tenth grade and you went with him but you acted kinda bitchy and you could've had so much fun but you ruined it and hurt him in the process

and don't you want to kick yourself in the face?

do you wish you could travel back in time and perhaps carry yourself more maturely so that six years later when you stumble across his old journal, it's likely that both his entry and the entry you are writing now would have come out differently, and you wouldn't have to end this post by saying
i'm sorry
