Tuesday, February 28, 2006 ( 2:15 AM ) shut up christine you know how they say "a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step"? this is true. but what they didn't say is that somewhere along that journey you are bound to get a mad case of athletes foot and five or six blisters. not to mention the quicksand and the scary man with the machete trying to chop off your foot...and if you are like me you're probably going to get lost every fifty miles... sometimes i think i'm looking at a mirage i keep walking and walking but it seems like i'm not getting any closer you know? and i've been taking baby steps but i think its time to strap on the sneakers and start sprinting i have a long way to go and not a lot of time left i hope i don't trip, but that would be kind of funny huh is it possible for me to draw out this analogy any further? damn. anyway June 2006 here i come # Sunday, February 26, 2006 ( 3:10 AM ) shut up christine aw man. I believed it. For my own future reference, I am an idiot and I blame no one but myself # Friday, February 24, 2006 ( 5:15 PM ) shut up christine ebola?!! scared myself this morning when i woke up because there were drops of dried blood on the left sleeve of my t-shirt, and i couldn't move my mouth cause my lips were encrusted in blood... turns out my lips are just HELLA chapped. PHEW! also, i'm mentioning this cause recently i was lucky enough to reconnect with one more person from time to time i write those " where are you now?" questions in my blog about people i once knew, but who probably wouldn't remember me... and it doesn't happen often, but it's really nice when i get messages from those who haven't forgotten :) so thanks! made my day. after 17 years i didn't think i would ever get to talk to you again p.s. jake gyllenhaal jake gyllenhaal jake gyllenhaal # Tuesday, February 21, 2006 ( 7:33 PM ) shut up christine Hallo hallo Jake Gyllenhaal. welcome to my blog. I think if I mention Jake Gyllenhaal's name enough times, if Jake Gyllenhaal googles his name perchance he'll stumble upon my website and after realizing how ridiculously magicals I am, Jake Gyllenhaal will renounce the shallowness of Hollywood and settle down with a nice girl like me it could happen. anyhoo I happened to randomly come upon Gil Rondon's Photography blog, wherein he documented the so-called "Mermaid Parade." Having had an extremely sheltered childhood, I was not aware that Mermaids even had parades! Thanks to Mr. Rondon, I will now add the Coney Island Summer Solstice Mermaid Parade to my To Do List of Lifelong Ambitions if Money and Time Were No Object. Jake Gyllenhaal is also on that list. This post was pointless and unnecessary! but it's so lonely in my house :( Gil Rondon Photography # Thursday, February 16, 2006 ( 7:07 PM ) shut up christine :) # Saturday, February 11, 2006 ( 12:44 AM ) shut up christine :) # Thursday, February 02, 2006 ( 10:23 PM ) shut up christine every morning i leave my house around 6:30am and sit in traffic for at least an hour then i spend the next four hours entering numbers into an excel spreadsheet and even though i've worked there for three months, i don't really have anyone to talk to, so i listen to the conversations going on on the other side of my cubicle wall, and they forgot to invite me to the last two potlucks or the gift exchange but i don't think they meant to forget me, i think it's because i'm just a temp so i'm not included in the company listserv. every afternoon i drive to an elementary school and everytime i look down, some little kid is tugging on the hem of my shirt once when we were coloring, i asked to borrow a blue crayon, and when i looked up from my workbook there were 8 blue crayons in front of me and when they come back from the bathroom, they bring me pinecones and they follow me around, like pikmin and i'm caught off-guard, cause i'm a nobody but they believe everything i say and they look at me like i have all the answers, to everything. p.s. thank you Joshua! i will take good care of it # |
