Thursday, January 10, 2002 ( 2:25 AM ) shut up christine Dudes, a story is long overdue so here’s a short one for now...not very entertaining, but I'm sure you know what it means. Two years later…….. Christine was walking back to her car after class when she spotted something familiar from the corner of her eye. She squinted to get a better look….the same quick gait, the same haircut, the same body, the same warm face she remembered….but two years older. “Hey!” Christine ran across the parking lot and tapped him on the shoulder. “Hi. It’s me, Christine. Christine from Brisa. Do you remember me?” “Uhhhhh… oh yeah! Hey, how are you? I haven’t seen you in such a long time.” The two old friends proceeded to small talk…simple stuff like the weather, classes, and things that happened to them since leaving. Just hearing the sound of his voice brought a smile to her face…she remembered it all like it was yesterday. After about 15 minutes, they ended their short but genuine conversation. “It was nice seeing you again, Christine.” “It was nice seeing you too. Take care of yourself, and good luck with everything.” With that, they bear-hugged each other and went their separate ways. Christine walked to her car and was about to get in when she took one last look back…he was already far off in the distance. She smiled, got in her car, and drove away. And that was the last time they saw each other. What? That's not how the story is supposed to end! Change it dammit! Change it I say! Woah keep your panties on. Looky here, Sparky. This is how it is, comprendes? This is how it closes. Closure. In my best Martha Stewart impersonation, "It's a good thing" booo crappy impersonation, christine Hey, you shut up. Ok enuffa that. Read and learn..I'm quizzing you. Rivers rode his bike to Santa Monica College everyday and planned to continue doing so until the band completely failed. Then he would transfer to Berkeley as an English major. Did he ever attend school at Berkeley, Jess? DID HE?? HUH!? Can't hear you, speak up! Jess: "You don't owwwwwwn me!" #
