Sunday, February 15, 2004 ( 2:53 AM ) shut up christine I wasn’t looking forward to Valentine’s Day this year because #1 I didn’t have a Valentine again, and #2, I had worked some extra hours during the week so I could get half of V Day off, but my boss needed me to come in for 10 hours anyway Anyhoot it’s the middle of the afternoon, a million people are in the store and all of them want to buy ceramic t-lite houses so I’m running around like a madman trying to find bubble wrap and tissue paper and the correct size cardboard boxes In the midst of this madness, a stranger comes up to the counter with a glass vase filled with a dozen red, pink, and white roses He says “these are for Christine” and all of a sudden my ears are filled with these pop pop pop popping noises I was so startled that I popped the bubble wrap I was holding I take the roses from the delivery guy the tiny little card says Happy Valentine’s Day Christine! Hope these make… The hours a little shorter Time go by a little faster Your smile a little brighter Your day a little better <3 Your Roomies ohhhh. man. Tears of joy! See, I told you my roomies were the best! Dang I am so dang lucky!! BIIIIIG fatty THANK YOUs!!! to Jess, Tracy, Flo, and Olie, the loveliest most wonderful roommates in the whole entire world! I know I only make 7 bucks an hour, but you guys make me feel like a MILLION dollars. Seriously, you don’t know how happy you made me today…a dozen roses…for me! I still can’t believe you did it… It’s like a fairytale, and I did nothing to deserve this Thank you thank you thank you so much…this is the best Valentine’s Day I’ve ever had :) #
