today I was sitting in class but thinking about other things, as usual
except this time I was zoning out about zoning out
when did I decide that it was okay to zone out in class
I used to be a nerd
I used to redo my homework two or three times a night if I used too much white-out
would you believe that a long time ago I used to be pretty smart?
except I wasn’t that smart, I just worked really hard
so when did it become okay to not work hard anymore?
and its not only that
I’m only down here
when I could be so much more
not just in school
but mentally, physically, everythingally
so starting today
I’m going to do everything
to get where I need to be
