Tuesday, August 17, 2004 ( 1:55 PM ) shut up christine I went to Lisbon, Portugal this past weekend with some of my classmates and I was buying postcards from a sidewalk vendor when two cars on the street almost hit, but instead of getting mad, one driver smiled and made a hand motion signaling the other car to pass, then the other driver smiled back and nodded a thank you before he left The whole thing took place in less than ten seconds, no one else had even noticed it, but something about it shocked me, I think because I´m so used to seeing people get road rage over nothing, and I´m guilty of it too, especially when I´m late for work... my point is that I´ve had a lot of these ¨shocking¨moments since I´ve been here, these tiny ten-second sequences that stick in my head and make me think and change the way I used to see things anyhoot Portuguese boys are extremely good looking wow cut tanned soccer bodies helllo being in Europe has taught me a lot about my taste in men my friend Mara says that I give out tens too easily she says even when I am surrounded by hot Portuguese boys, I go for the hunchback from Estonia he was really cute though...gorgeous eyes, and nice personality too, he just had bad posture If you´re bored here are some good Spanish movies to watch: Lucia y El Sexo and Carne Tremula now I must work on my projects, we´re nearing the end of our program so there are papers and finals to prepare for hope you´re all doing well...thanks to the people who´ve written emails or messages on their webpages, it makes me happy when I hear from people back at home especially Angie Amador!! you made me cry when I read your email alritey peace out buds p.s. hunchbacks are hot yo #
