When I was a kid I always played this cool computer game called The Island of Doctor Brain
and there´s a part where you have to match all these famous paintings to the artist who painted them
and it trips me out that 10 years later I´m looking at the same paintings, but instead of staring at a computer I´m standing in front of a real Picasso or Dali or O´Keeffe...
it´s almost like deja vu
Do you ever think back to the time in 5th or 6th grade when your teacher asked you ¨How do you see yourself ten years from now?¨ and then ten years later you remember that question and you realize that almost everything you wanted to happen is happening now,
and almost all the things you thought you would be, you are
almost
but I think almost is definitely a good thing
if you had everything then you would have nothing to look forward to
anyway lately I´ve been thinking a lot about random people I once knew from elementary or high school
Derek Van Hamersveld, Richard Higa, Amanda Derby, Amar Patel, Nathaniel Jilk...
haven´t seen any of these people in years, don´t know if they would remember me
but I wonder where they are and what they look like and how they´re doing
