when i studied abroad, one of the best things, for me at least,
was being aware that time was very precious
and we'd try to cram in as many things as possible into each day
because we only had a few weeks
so every day was something special
and every minute was spent doing something that mattered
and even if we were just sitting around playing cards
i never felt like time was wasted
don't you hate it when you have piles of work to do but your heart wanders off to another place? and the pile just keeps getting bigger and bigger
i miss spain
