brian left for madrid yesterday so i spent the rest of my time in paris checking out every street act i could find
and next to our hotel we found the best hole-in-the-wall bakery in the entire universe... fresh little pastries wrapped in sheets of brown paper i think someday i will come back to europe just to eat there
now i am in berlin
i almost missed my flight this morning because i unconsciously turned off my alarm but my cab driver was super nice
and when i arrived in berlin i had no hotel no nothing...
the info lady handed me a book of hotel names and told me to get on the public bus and i was thinking shitttt i dont even know what stop to get off at eek
but then this incredibly nice guy saw me looking and my map and he helped me out and took the bus with me into the city and at first we had a hard time understanding each other but towards the end it was like magic i could understand everything..so weird...and now we are friends i gave him a handkerchief and he gave me a box of croatian chocolate cookies
and you know what is even more weird?
he said he had dreamt that this would happen six months ago...he had dreamt that we would be sitting together on that bus, he had seen my face before... deja vu
isnt that freaky
someone up there must be looking out for me
