of course they want to put their best forward
resume, hair did, nice clothes, nice car, pick-up lines, crest white smile
impress, impress, impress
and when someone crumples up in front of you
and flaunts their flaws out in the open
when they start bawling and the snot drips down their face
they’re beautiful without trying
life is ironic, no?
