( 3:51 AM ) shut up christine
The last time I had a garage sale, I sold half of my possessions thinking I would raise a ton of money in a short amount of time... I made about $350, but now I lament the fact that I only have one pair of jeans, and the rest of my wardrobe consists mostly of tapered sweatpants and booty shorts :(
Of all the things I wish I hadn't sold, I regret selling my ziplock bag of broken crayons that I had kept since elementary school, the same crayons I had used in college to highlight my textbooks on the rare occassions when I actually studied.
Shortly after the garage sale I bought a brand new box of 64 Crayola crayons, but they're so pretty and sharp and new that I don't want to use them, so they sit unused in a box under my desk.
Some things are better broken, I think.
as usual, this is a metaphor for something else
