Sturm gave a speech on the last day of our Civ Pro class. She encouraged us to assemble a personal Board of Directors. That is, a Board of Directors for You. A steering committee that knows you and what you stand for and have your best interests in mind, to guide the enterprise that is your life.
This is such good advice for young law students. Especially idealistic young law students. Remember who you are and don't get sucked into this materialistic and twisted lifestyle. As we are presented with morally questionable choices or "obligations" in our careers I hope my friends and I will keep each other grounded.
Then she went on to say how I was her first Director, way back in high school, and I am literally bawling as I type this, because I can say the same for her.

Linda, I know you will accomplish amazing things in this lifetime, and I hope I am there to see them :)
