tonight i said goodbye to seema, she leaves for india on sunday.
she asked if i wanted to send anything to ahmedabad
i only wanted to give him one thing, a letter, but i didn't finish writing it
it wouldn't have fit into her suitcase
all the things i wanted to say
ironically, hundreds of pages of nothing
just how are you and what are you doing today
words i take for granted.
on an entirely different note.
i am watching a story on CNN about the plight of polar bears
and i hate how this makes me miss someone i used to know
who had a polar bear pillowcase that i used to sleep on
why do we do things like this
