i often ask that question when i'm watching filipino tv
one show in particular, Rosalka, is all kinds of crazy so i ask my aunt to translate for me
it's about an outcast hunchback girl with an alien living in her hump. said alien crawls out of her back at night to kill people
apparently this is a true story according to my uncle, who chimes in to say "and that is why you should never go to Antique" (because stuff like this happens there. incidentally my dad's family is from there)
explains everything! my dad is carrying an evil alien in his stomach!
i just told my dad that his ginormous belly is actually housing an evil alien and he needs to see a witch doctor asap!
he says NO, he won't accept it. if it's true he will kill himself
omg so dramatic
update: i kid you not, shortly after posting this my dad puts ginger on his stomach (because duh, ginger kills aliens)
