Tuesday, February 08, 2011 ( 8:30 PM ) shut up christine inner beauty is important but not nearly as important as outer beauty
i laughed when i saw this commercial. clearly it was meant to be funny
but aint it the truth!
ya know, i'd like to think i'm all about personal change
when i see a problem in the world, i (try to) look within so i can see how i contribute to it
then i (try to) change something about my actions or myself, to contribute to a solution.
no blaming or finger-pointing,
just miniature personal revolutions. try is the operative word, i never said i'm 100% successful at this.
when i think about the concept of beauty, or rather, when i observe my own insecurities
i often think about shaving my hair or mutilating my face in some way via scarring
i don't believe i'm radical enough to actually go through with it
but the thoughts cross my mind
how is mutilating my own face contributing to beauty, you ask?
why not, say, get a facial instead?
"Don't let it end like this. Tell them I said something."
