last summer i purchased succulents (twelve for $10) from a vendor at the dodger stadium flea market
it took me a while to track him down (couldn't remember the name of his booth) but fortunately i've found him!

i wrote him an email saying that i've been looking for him
since he doesn't have a shop, he invited us to his home in la to check out his greenhouses
as we browsed, he would point out/explain all the plants he thought were really cool...basically all of them.
so adorable!
he showed us a very special plant from yemen...and gifted it to me! not only that, he re-potted it into a little flowerpot that he hand-made himself
love it
he's so sweet and knowledgeable and it's very apparent that he loves helping things grow.
i heart jairo! go see him if you are in los angeles and looking for cacti or succulents
