Wednesday, July 25, 2012 ( 5:50 PM ) shut up christine compromise i know that after 10 serious days of a juice reboot i should feel AWESOME. increased energy & metabolism, crisp mental clarity, weight loss, glowing skin, sparkles and unicorns the problem is right now, i'm hungry and moody and i can't concentrate for shiz this poses a problem when i need to be studying hella hours each day. i just can't. i want falafel. falafel now, biatch!! so. i'm still going to continue juicing for the remaining 5 days and beyond. i just can't do a full on detox right now and study the way i want/need to. weakness? excuses? perhaps i'm gonna keep juicing each day but eat a good meal as well. happy healthy medium! today is heavy on carrots and kale Carrot juice is known for beta carotene which gives the body Vitamin A, B Vitamins, Vitamin E and many minerals. The health benefits of drinking carrot juice are thought to be good prenatal health, eyesight, bones and teeth, liver and nails, skin and hair as well as helping in cancer prevention. via *** One of the main benefits of using kale in your juice blends is that it provides a large nutritional punch with one of the fewest calorie counts per cup of any other vegetable.
Kale is also a rich
source of the carotenoid and phytonutrient lutein (natural antioxidant), vitamin K (blood clotting), vitamin A (vision health, healthy skin), vitamin C (immune system, healthy body tissues), calcium (strong bones, muscle contraction, nerve conduction), including manganese, copper, potassium, iron, magnesium, vitamin E, omega 3 fatty acids, vitamins B1, B2 and B3, protein, foliate
and phosphorus!
