starting today, at this moment
i'm implementing massive changes in several aspects of my life
after watching this movie last week (you can watch for free using that link), i decided to do a 10 day reboot, ie juice fast
(movie is kinda corny but watch it through til the end...pretty amazing stuff regarding the healing benefits)
anywho
i actually started the reboot yesterday but i got uber hungry around
9pm last night and i had some leftovers that i didn't want to spoil
during my fast so i ate em.
but today! today it's on
i know its going to be crappy for the first three days or so
but i have a secret weapon that i call the aldrich method
aldrich is my sister's husband
he has beast-like self discipline
getting a PhD in mathematics? no biggie
fastest race time for his age division at the santa monica 10k? no biggie
is a rocket scientist? no biggie
no complaining, no whining, he just does the work to get it done.
when i'm hungry and having withdrawals on day 3 of reboot? quit the whining and do it
(ps its noon on day 1 and i would love a sandwich ah mah gahh)
i'm going to apply this beast mentality to other things, like attacking my nclex studying now that i have my test date
alritey day 1 of juice fast and intensive studying here we go no biggie
